The firm of Donna Riley Architect was founded in 2002 and provides full architectural services from land selection and conceptual design through construction documents and management. Donna has extensive knowledge of green building and loves to create homes that are as beautiful as they are sustainable. Her breadth of experience includes high end custom design, wood work design, and construction management for design build firms.
Our work utilizes a team approach of collaborating with both owner and builder to ensure the most innovative and cost effective solutions to our clients needs.
Donna grew up back east and her work is influenced by the practicality and sensibilities of the New England way of life. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Roger Williams University and has furthered her studies in Sustainable Design with the Boston Architectural College. She has taught classes in green building for Colorado Mountain College and Solar Energy International and is currently working on becoming LEED certified.
She is actively involved in the community and volunteers at many local events. She loves being involved at her son’s school and was integral to the design of the playground on the new Ross Montessori School campus. Forever a lover and promoter of the arts, she was a past board member for the Carbondale Arts Council and is currently on the board of SoL Theater.
